Why I'm interested:  

New research may help explain why common anti-inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen have unexpected (positive) effects on heart disease, cancer, and more. Look into original research article. They discuss how aspirin affects enzymes in the body and specifically activate a protein called nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2, or NRF2.
