Light and refreshing smoothie/blended juice - easy on digestion and easy to make.

1/4 cup sliced celery (washed) |
1/4 cup red delicious or golden delicious apple (peeled and sliced) |
1/2 cup frozen peeled pear |
1/4 cup filtered water |
1/4 cup ice |
This smoothie is a lovely alternative to your typical green smoothie which can contain itch promoting ingredients such as spinach and kale. If you do not tolerate moderate amines you can switch the apple for extra pear.
This recipe is from Eczema Life, a group created to help people with skin rashes including eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, rosacea and TSW/red skin syndrome. The founder and nutritionist is Karen Fischer who also created Skin Friend, a line of supplements and skin products to improve troublesome skin.
