Simmer cabbage, celery, leek, and salt in the broth for about 10 minutes.

Mix the milk and flour and to a boil and then add the milk mixture to the cabbage mixture.

Simmer for about 20-30 minutes

Optional: blend for creamy smooth texture.

1/4 cup leeks, chopped
1 cup chicken broth, homemade
1 tablespoon salt
4 cup milk
1/3 cup all-purpose flour

4 slices bacon, ham or pork belly
