Easy and quick way to make eggs. The egg whites come out very creamy.

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • Salt

Directions

  • Bring water to a soft boil or simmer in a sauce pan or skillet. Water should be about 1.5-2 inches high.
  • Add salt to the water (this helps the egg white set quickly), optional
  • Break an egg into a 1/3 or 1/2 measuring cup
  • Lower cup and carefully place egg into the boiling water.
  • Simmer gently for 3-5 minutes depending on desired firmness.
  • Remove with slotted spoon.
  • I recommend draining on a fine wire mesh (splatter shield if you have one) or a cotton flour sack towel. Paper towel is recommended by some to dry the eggs, but I'm not sure if it would stick to the egg. After drying a moment, place on plate and serve.
