Smithfield Thick Cut Bacon
Great video on nitrates - I know the camps are equally split on this, but lots of research separates nitrates out from cancer in the last decade or so: https://youtu.be/Sv6lwUF0skE.

As for the bacon, this is the one they sell in my town, as hickory smoked or cherrywood. I don't react to either, and they're delicious. Not my first choice, as I prefer the hemplers or ones without added sugars.

Chicken of the Sea Pink Salmon
While I go in and out of wanting to eat canned fish, I do enjoy this as a "tuna" salad or mix in cream cheese for a spread. It's tasty enough to eat on it's own with some crackers or iceberg lettuce.

Beefeater London Dry Gin
This one's my favorite! Nice clean and crisp flavor and no reaction ever. I remember having such a hard time drinking wine, and switching to this was amazing! It still has botanicals, but if I only have 1-2 shots there aren't any problems. If you must mix it, I recommend sparkling water, unless you can handle a squeeze of lemon or lime. Delicious with pear juice too (hot or cold).

Tanqueray London Dry Gin
I never have a reaction with this, but it's not my favorite, although more widely available. It's not as tangy as the Beefeaters which I really like.

Nova Maple Candy - Pure Maple Sugar Leaf Candy (8 Ounces)
These are so tasty, they melt in your mouth and are quite sweet. I usually have 1-2 in one sitting with my coffee, then don't think about it again for a week or two. I love maple doughnuts, so this helps with those cravings. Somehow - plain maple syrup just doesn't match this, even though it's the same ingredient.

Dandy Blend Instant Herbal Beverage/Cereal Coffee (dissolvable powder)
This is a little better alternative to carob, I like the flavor, although it is light. I don't have a reaction if I don't overdo it! I am definitely going to try out the smoothie milkshake on the back - I think the roasty flavor will be very interesting.

Anthony's Erythritol Granules
My mom and I never have had an issue with erythritol - use it in baking. The only limitation is using it in cheesecakes and ice cream - first day is great, but each day that passes, it becomes more and more crystalized. It's ok if you expect it, but not great if you're looking for something silky smooth. I've been using allulose in those other situations.

Cleure Hypoallergenic Mascara - Luxury
I've been using this mascara for a few years now, and I like how it works. Seems waterproof, but it does give into smudging a little bit. I use it for all of my pin-up shots! It is challenging to take off with oil only, and Cleure doesn't have an eye make-up remover. I am currently using a Sens'Eyes - Waterproof Sensitive Eye Cleanser to take it off, but looking for something without botanicals. I use oil first to create a barrier on my skin, then use the eye cleanser, then wash everything with soap.

Winco The Bake Shop Sourdough Bread
Excellent bread, my go-to sandwich. My favorite bread for grilled cheese!

Beanitos Black Bean Chips
Good little chips - I've enjoyed grating white cheese on top and making nachos. Makes me feel a little bit normal again.

Sally's Bucket 3 Bar Goat Milk Set
Compared to my typical tallow bar, this one is quite foamy and lathers nicely. I've been using it in my hair which seems easier because of the lather. I also have hard water which affects foaming so this holds up nicely. Also, I've been on a search for goat milk bars and can never find them without coconut - so thank you Pamela for making something perfect for us! Sarah

WaterWipes Sensitive Baby Wipes
It's hard to find a natural wipe - and this one has grapefruit (high sals) but I thought the amount would be low enough. So far, no reactions! These are nice to take when doing errands or field work/camping. It really does just feel like water, so if you're looking for something to clean (after thrifting for example) maybe look for something else or use a sanitizer afterward. The little opening leaves something to be desired - I ended up storing it in a resealable bag.

Burt’s Bees Baby Chlorine-Free Wipes, Unscented Natural
I haven't had a reaction to these, but I only use 3-4/week on my hands. I know it has aloe and sodium benzoate it them, but it's one of the most mundane wipes I've found yet. Generally, I do react to aloe, so I'm thinking that it's such a small amount, it probably isn't enough to cause a reaction. I'd love to hear other comments and reviews!

The Healthy Porpcupine: Pure Tallow Soap
Great soap! The only thing I didn't love about it was a slight grassy smell that you get when using grass-fed tallow. The smell dissipates when my hair drys though. It's not a big deal, but when everything is unscented, the little "natural" smells catch your attention. I'm allergic to grass (true grass allergy) so I always wonder how much of that comes through in fats. I definitely notice less smell on the lard soaps, which is from pork who have a varied diet.

Solace Farm Homestead: Unscented Liquid Lard Soap
Nice soap - make sure you ask the soap maker for a custom blend without coconut oil - you may have to wait but it's worth it. I got the thin version, put it into a squeeze bottle and drizzle it onto my hair. It's also something you can use to treat garden plants to deter insects (when a recipe asks for dish soap). You can also use it in a dispenser for hand soap (ask for it thickened) or use a foaming dispenser (dilute it a bit).

Old Whippersnapper's: Liquid Old Fashioned Lard Shampoo/Soap
I purchased this to take to my compounding pharmacy to make an anti-dandruff shampoo for me. Great simple soap! Branded for men, so if you're looking for something that's not too girly, this might be for you! My husband doesn't have hair, so I'll gladly buy this for myself!

Clover Garden Soaps: Lard and Lye Soap
This is by far my favorite soap - it is so creamy and moisturizing. The price compared to other soaps is a bit higher than I prefer. I recommend getting the other soaps for body and hands, and using this for your hair.

Cleure Shampoo
I think this is a solid shampoo and it cleans pretty well. Sometimes, I need to wash twice or use a lot, which I didn't do with commercial shampoos before. I also have had bad luck with shampoos - I think it's just not gentle enough for me. I've had hair loss for many years, including while using this shampoo (for about 6 months during that time) and it decreased a bit switching to low-sal products and diet. Once I switched to lard or tallow soap though, it stopped, so I can only assume it was what I had been using. I do wonder how they use coconut products (med-high in sals) and ensure that they truly are salicylate free.

Cleure Replenishing Conditioner
Nice conditioner, detangles well and doesn't seem heavy. I like using it as a shave cream sometimes.

GraziSoaps Grass Fed Unscented Tallow Soap with Zinc Oxide
This is probably my favorite bar of soap, based on quality and price. I buy $35 at a time to get the free shipping. Next time, I'll ask to avoid the little sheer gift bag it comes with and ask to have it wrapped in paper or wax paper instead.
