I generally use cheap vodka to remove most smells from fabrics (spray and let air dry), but this seems to work for other tough lingering smells that last through several washes. I'm talking perfume and thrift store smells that never go away!
And yes, this is for other odors that linger and do not respond to baking soda or vinegar treatments.
