With salicylate intolerance, it can be hard to find handcrafted - all natural soap because so many plant based oils are high in salicylate. Soon you find that you miss things like traditional castile bars. I created a wonderful substitute using sunflower oil. Sunflower oil is actually also high in oleic acid which is what make traditional castile bars have such a unique texture and properties. Like the traditional bar, this soap is really slippery to the touch, super hard, and has creamy suds.
Traditional castile soap was made from sea water. The ingredients in this bar recreates that sea water using low salicylate ingredients from sea salt, parsley (for plant life), and clay (dirt and minerals). For a traditional essence, each bar is embossed with a circle signed with an "SB" for Sally's Bucket. It is unscented which makes it a great facial or body soap bar.
Why select this brand?
Sally's Bucket makes products that are from low salicylate ingredients, and is great for individuals with Salicylate Intolerance/Sensitivity. However, even if you are not sensitive to salicylates, by selecting this brand you are choosing products made from carefully selected ingredients and no preservatives. The name Sally's Bucket is referencing how full is your bucket or salicylate level.
