A pure lanolin with a thick texture. Lanolin is a great emulsifier which keeps moisture in the skin. Lanolin can be used in many of the same ways vaseline or petroleum jelly can be used, but it is a natural product from the sebum of sheep. No sheep are harmed, it's cleaned off of the wool during shearing. Lanolin can be used in the hair for texture and fly aways, on coarse dry feet, to cover acne while it heals over night, as a chapstick, and for chapped areas during breast feeding.
Look for a lanolin without any additives, and try to see what the comments are for scent/odor. Lanolin is usually cleaned up a little bit to get rid of that wet-sheep/wet-wool smell which no one really likes.
