I love using only lard or tallow soap to wash my hair and body. It's creamy, it cleans well, it doesn't over dry or strip your hair. Although sometimes - you have to wash twice (I've got hard water).

From Old Whipper Snappers:

This lard shampoo is one of the mildest and longest lasting liquid shampoos available.   It is concentrated and is super moisturizing for your hair.

Our lard shampoo is super good.  It takes me a long time to make due to the fact that it is a liquid shampoo made the old fashioned way by hand. It takes me four times as much time to make as my bar soaps!  It is made with only two ingredients, Lard and Lye. After it is made the lard and lye become soap & Glycerin, which is super good for your hair. No artificial fillers whatsoever.

Each Liquid Old Fashioned Lard Shampoo is 16 fluid ounces and comes in a disc pop top bottle. (Note that this item can be used to refill our smaller 8 oz Liquid Lard Soap hand pump bottles too.)
