Low sugar, fairly clean ham. While I'm not super keen on trying out "natural flavors" I do not react to this ham at all. "Sweet" doesn't mean added sugar or sugary, it means it was processed with more fat. Because of this, it tastes less dry than normal ham and feels a little bit like a pancetta with the added fat.

It is also free of added nitrates/nitrites. It does use celery powder, which tested high in Swain's 1985 test, but I think because of low quantity, it still has a low salicylate level overall.
I've been able to find Boar's Head at quality deli/butchers and at the Kroger/QFC/Fred Meyer franchise. I've also seen it proudly served at restaurants and deli-cafes.
