Sarah's thoughts about this:
Decaf coffee like this, unless specified, uses the methylene chloride or the ethyl acetate process called "direct contact" method. Those chemicals are washed away and adhered to the caffeine which is later separated and sold to pharmaceuticals. Decaf coffee has been tested as negligible or low in every study. If you are reacting, it might be due to other natural chemicals like amines or something else. Some people say that the direct contact method leaves chemicals behind in the process, and maybe that's what they are reacting to. Since there are many different ways to decaffeinated coffee, it's worth looking around until you find something that works for you.
More: Seattle Best Coffee is a Starbucks Coffee, but with a lighter flavor profile. This one is considered a medium blend.
