I usually try to buy my sunflower kernels from the bulk food section, but if you don't have one of those, it can be challenging to find them plain and raw. This brand offers a five pound purchase for only $3-4 a pound, which is a pretty good price.

Toasted is still fine for salicylate levels, but check to see if they use other oil or flavorings. Sunflower oil is also low in salicylates.
