Pepperidge Farm Butter Chessmen Cookies

Thoughts from Low-sal-life
These are a nice little cookie to have around - a smidge lighter than a shortbread, simple and clean. I've ordered these in the past for gifts or when little kids are around and you need something quick. The only issue I'd have with them is that they are fortified with folic acid (I have the MTHFR mutation), but I can still tolerate a little bit without an issue. Shouldn't be a staple food - but for a treat, I love them! Also nice to dip in chocolate or a hot decaf coffee. All of the ingredients are on the negligible or low salicylate lists.

Where to find it
I personally recommend you pick them up in person, because sometimes they get damaged. I did buy a box of six last year and they arrived just fine.
