Good morning. Welcome to low-sal-life. My name is Sarah. Today, I thought we'd start a new series. I can't commit to every week. But it's going to be three minute Thursdays, where we just cover small tips and tricks. I keep getting requests for what I eat in a day. And yeah, so here I am, I just rolled out of bed.
My husband prepped my coffee pot for me. And so all I have to do is push the button and this is where we're starting: decaf coffee, heavy cream, I really try and get heavy cream from either a local farmer that I can pick up an hour away from me or I get it delivered to my parents house, they have them set up on milk delivery. So they have a just 100% cream. It's delicious. So I'm spending a lot of time over on the west side right now. So I'll get my cream delivered there and then I bring it home and enjoy it here. So those are my two options for high quality cream. Otherwise, I will just use Darigold. So here we are coffee and cream was the first thing I'm eating. Now it is about 130 I actually haven't eaten breakfast all I've had was that coffee at nine. I slept in a little bit.
So everything's about two hours late today, but I am eating two eggs, two slices of uncured no sugar bacon. And yeah, this is one of my favorite breakfasts. And it certainly keeps me slim. I don't feel I try and do like keto or like no greens as much as possible. I'm going to have oatmeal later. But this is what's for brunch today and I will see you next time I eat.
So I am going to eat some oatmeal, I'm going to have a half a pear that's been peeled, these are actually pairs leftover from canning and then we're actually heading out for kind of like a field day we're going to be away from the house for about 4-5 hours. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to bulk up my oatmeal a little bit so as an extra little fatty, throw in some heavy cream and some butter in there, add some maple syrup just for a little bit of flavor. Have it with my pear - eat that before we head out.
I'm also going to pack a traveler for my second cup of coffee again with heavy cream added to that. And then I am going to take these guys, these are toasted garbanzo beans for a snack, I'll probably take a half cup of that I can bearly- I probably won't be able to eat more than a quarter cup. So edamae (toasted), which is not negligible in sals, it's kind of more of like a low, and I'm not going to eat very many. I'll probably take two tablespoons full of that. And then I'm also going to take some Lindt chocolate dark chocolate to snack on maybe one or two squares. The one I get is 78% Chocolate. It's the only one that doesn't have vanilla. I'm not sure if it's a typo or not, but I don't get sick from it. So that's the one I'm going to take with me. And then after that, I won't see you until dinnertime.
All right, it's dinner time I just got back from exploring the great expansive shrub steppe. I even got to throw a fishing pole in for a little while but I didn't catch any dinner. So tonight, I am going to eat a steak. I'm going to cook a chayote I'm going to peel it, saute it up, add some butter, leeks and salt and call that a meal. Then, just to let you know I will also post my macros and the calories that I ate for the day after I close out the video. And that's it. I will see you later. Stay tuned over the weekend for a new longer, more intense video. Bye!
